Unable to wait until he got home, Johnny carried the lamp to the bus stop.
The kindergartner slightly stroked one hand against the brass, calling forth the jinn on an otherwise ordinary spring morning.
“So, did you think about my offer?” the jinn asked.
“I wish dinosaurs were alive again!” Johnny squawked without hesitation.
“Of course,” the jinn replied.
Johnny clapped his hands and eagerly hopped from one leg to the other as the ground quaked. A rush of bone, flesh, and feathers materialized as the resurrection commenced.
“And here comes my school bus!”
“Perfect timing,” the jinn gleefully growled.
